Many women become depressed after giving birth. Symptoms can include irritability, insomnia, loss of appetite, and difficulty bonding with the baby. If left untreated, postpartum depression can last for months or deepen into major depression that may afflict you later in life.

MENSTRUAL DISORDERS​

 

There are many types of menstrual disorders, including:

  • Premenstrual syndrome (PMS): emotional and physical discomfort prior to menstruation

  • Amenorrhea: the absence of menstrual bleeding

  • Abnormal uterine bleeding: prolonged or excessive menstrual bleeding

  • Oligomenorrhea: infrequent or light menstruation

MENOPAUSE MANAGEMENT​

Menopause is a natural stage of sexual health. It will happen at different times for different women, but most commonly in middle age. The most recognizable symptoms are hot flashes and vaginal dryness, which may also be accompanied by sleep disturbances, painful intercourse, night sweats, and changes in mood.
